Between Strangers

(2021)

Between Strangers is a photography exhibition with works that were taken in China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in 2019.  El recorded everything during his trip with an iPhone 7+, reflecting the way of him communicating with strangers along the trip. The photographs are exhibited to express the message of 'Ichigo Ichie’, a Japanese four-character idiom (yojijukugo) that describes a cultural concept of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment.

Commemorative project 'An Afternoon with Wang Sha and Ye Feng' celebrates the timeless comedy duo who left an indelible mark on Singapore's entertainment history. Blending nostalgic elements with modern design techniques, the cover pays tribute to their legacy and marks a special occasion to remember them on what would have been Ye Feng's birthday."

• Home Is Where The Heart Is • is the Chinese New Year cookies series by local bakery Yellow Bake Day.
The overall theme and direction is about home, family and love. The white packaging symbolised wall that formed our home and colourful labels represented our family members. A pack of cookies, a pack full of love.

Journey to the Moon - YBD

Artemis missions - NASA will land humans on the moon by 2024 as part of its plan to send humans to Mars in the future.
Some questions came to mind, what will our food be like on the moon? What foods in human history are associated with the moon? In this Mid-Autumn season, working together with local bakery -Yellow Bake Day, Journey to the Moon begins.
